Thrust helps the flying devices alter the force produced by the engine. Pull helps alter the force directed down from the center of mass of the flying device towards the center of the earth. Drag helps alter the force that is parrallel to the relative wind, and Lift helps the flying device alter how high the device will go, hoping it will lift off the ground.
