A hot air balloon takes advantage of the properties of air because hot air makes the balloon rise and cold air would make the balloon sink, although hot air balloons usually run on heat to make the air hot so it may go up and not sink, as compared to the experiment we did when Craig Douglas came and showed us about the blue water and the red water, blue water sank, red water rised. I agree with leoleo because underneath the balloon is something to help run on hot air and i also agree about the fact that the wind helps steer the balloon. Jenny

ReplyDeleteHot air molacules expand causeing hot air to rise. With a hit air baloon a gas burner provides hot air allowing the ballon to rise.
